Some of the developers from Sony Online Entertainment sat down and livestreamed about EverQuest Next for almost an hour. If you have any interest in this game, this is a great place to learn a lot. They dive into details, like how it will be PC only for now, how your character will transition from Landmark into Next, how building will work, and tons of other details on how the game will play. They also showed off some gameplay, and it’s one of the first really good looks at the game that we have had.
One neat thing they mentioned was that players will have lots of options for what outfits they want to wear, and they won’t be stuck with just fantasy clothing in Landmark. They showed off some nice looking sci-fi outfits, and hinted at wild-west and historical settings, which has me even more excited for the game.
Everything I have seen about EverQuest Next and Landmark looks amazing, and it seems like it could be the first MMO to break away from the current repetitive mold.
