Warzone players discover unique reward for using Biometric Scanner 27 days in a row

Don't skip a day.

The Warzone Season 3 update introduced a Biometric Scanner to Rebirth Island, and players finally discovered one of the most elusive rewards.

There are 10 Biometric Scanners around Rebirth Island, which can be located in communications facilities. Once per match, the scanners are activated, and players can use them to receive a keycard placed directly in their backpack. The cards can unlock a special menu in any Rebirth Island buy station. Six different rarities of keycards can be dropped from a scanner. For example, a Bronze keycard awards cash and armor plates, while an Orion keycard offers classified weapons and free weapon selects at a buy station.

In addition to keycards, players also earn rewards that improve progressively with each consecutive day they use a Biometric Scanner. So far, we have seen a few cosmetic items, such as a calling card and a large decal, but we haven’t seen anything like the most recent reward. Warzone content creator Oceane used the Biometric Scanner located in the Headquarters POI for the 27th consecutive day and opened the mysterious door next to the scanner. Inside, there is an unidentified phone item that players can carry.

Fellow CoD streamer JGOD confirmed that the phone gives you $500 to $1000 every 30 seconds. JGOD labeled the item “insane,” as players can easily rack up money and purchase any item they want from the buy station. Oceane also reported that the phone lowers the nuke timer by up to 11 seconds every 30 seconds, which is a massive difference. Having the ability to earn money that fast is certainly powerful, but it shouldn’t be overpowered. Players will have an opportunity to steal the phone, and money doesn’t make it any easier to win gunfights.

What other rewards await for using Biometric Scanners daily remains to be seen. But we highly recommend not skipping a day, as players have plenty to gain.
