September 2nd for PS3, PS4, Vita, and Xbox One
Tecmo Koei has announced that Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate will hit stateside on September 2nd, 2014. It’s scheduled for launch on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Vita, and Xbox One — which is great news for all of you who thought the Vita version might not make it.
There will also be crossover pre-order incentives, including a Halloween costume set for Zhao Yun and Mitsunari Ishida, as well as extra costumes for other characters. Orochi 3 Ultimate boasts 145 playable characters, as well as a few cameos from Dead or Alive 5 and Atelier, and crossover stages from games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. It’ll also feature Cross-Play and Cross-Save functionality between the PS3, PS4, and Vita versions.
It is pre-ordained that someone will always be at Destructoid to carry the Dynasty Warriors torch — you will never escape its clutches.
