Do you know Snowblind Studios? Sure you do. They’re the makers of some big role-playing titles like Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath and Justice League Heroes. As of today, these guys are working for Warner Bros.

In a move to become a bigger player in the games market, WB’s Home Entertainment Group picked up the studio, set to join TT Games (LEGO Batman) and Monolith Productions (F.E.A.R. 2) under the Warner Bros. umbrella-ella-ella.

And now, a generic press release quote by someone important that you don’t know:

“The acquisition of Snowblind is an important milestone for our games business, allowing us to expand our development capabilities even further,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We are proud to be associated with such a talented team that is focused on executing innovative and captivating game designs.”

Well, Go Warner Bros. I wonder what they have up their sleeves.
