Wario needs to fire his advertising department

Will Greenwald over at Crave: The gadget blog recently received a copy of Wario: Master of Disguise for the Nintendo DS to review and was unimpressed by the swag that came with it.

Most game companies send neat promotion items along with their games like sunglasses, a snow globe or a piñata but Nintendo decided to send out with their game a purple mask and a fake mustache. How cheap of them.

I hope the rest of their advertising campaign isn’t as bad as this or the game will end up in the bargain bin in no time.

At least Will has a last minute Halloween costume. He could go as El Cheapo the bandito.
