Warhorse to use CryENGINE 3 for its open-world RPG

Prague-based Warhorse Studios has reached a licensing deal with Crytek to use CryENGINE 3 for the company’s unannounced open-world RPG. Big deal, who cares. Right? Wrong!

Before you write this news off, let me first point you to the team’s website. Look at that badass image on the landing page. You might also like to know that Warhorse is made up of industry members who have worked on games like Mafia, Operation Flashpoint, and UFO: Aftershock.

“Even if our new project is different in many respects, it is a game that is not going to disappoint fans of open realistic worlds and quality stories,” reads the website. “We are positive we are not making this game for ourselves only but for you as well.”
