Warframe will warrant another look with Plains of Eidolon

Warframe is going open world with its Plains of Eidolon expansion this year. Today brings our latest look at the people you’ll meet, the places you’ll go, and the twisted, towering threats you’ll face.

This update should bring in new players and folks who tried Warframe a while back but moved on to something else. Digital Extremes is clearly in this for the long haul, and it has the playerbase to continue. I wonder what other open-ended “landscapes” we might see down the road.

Plains of Eidolon is slated for a fall release, so it shouldn’t be too much longer now.
