Wakfu open beta gets a new zone, still looks beautiful

Recommended Videos

Prior to playing Wakfu, I had no knowledge of the “World of Twelve” or its inhabitants. However, after playing the game and taking in the art style, I am in love with its environment. This game is beautiful, and some new screenshots from Mt. Zinit, a new zone, show exactly that.

Starting on February 15th, players will have access to “the highest point in the World of Twelve – Mt. Zinit.” After looking through some of the screenshots, the area seems to have an underwater motif, complete with fish bones and barnacles. If this area is like the others, you’ll be free to explore it without being attacked by enemies since only in dungeons will you get attacked unprovoked.

Has anyone else been spending time in Wakfu’s open beta? Much of my time in Wakfu has been an incredible learning experience — running around and taking in the sights and information without having to worry about being aggroed goes a long way here. You can expect my impressions of the game close to its launch on February 29th.
