If you’re eagerly anticipating the arrival of Oddworld Inhabitants delayed adventure Oddworld: Soulstorm, then you can at least take comfort in this brand new trailer for the quirky adventure sequel, headed to PS4, PS5, and PC (via Epic Games Store) this spring.

A sequel to 1997 PlayStation classic Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus, Soulstorm will see brave Mudokan Abe continue in his efforts to rally his clan against the capitalist machinations of the evil Glukkons and their Magog Cartel empire. Abe’s long-awaited return will see a brand new adventure filled with platforms, puzzles, and the infuriating management of a hapless party of stumbling allies. Viva la revolucion?

Originally scheduled for launch in 2020, Oddworld Inhabitants decided to keep the new title in the oven for a few more months in order to better polish Abe and kin for their return. It’s already been quite the wait for fans of this cult series, but hopefully this development extension will ensure that the murky, quirky Oddworld universe ultimately returns in style.
