Simultaneous videogame releases on consoles and PC aren’t happening lately, are they? And delays? Don’t even get me started. The PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum falls into both categories, but at least it’s not slipping into 2010. Phew!

While the console versions are slated for August 25 with a demo out very soon, the Games for Windows LIVE version isn’t debuting until September 15 in North America and the 18th in Europe and Australia. Why? NVIDIA PhysX support, that’s why!

Now, here’s the question I’m obligated by law to ask: are any of you waiting for the PC version? I need my Batman and I need him now, so you can count me out.
