VR bliss: Hawken will launch with Oculus Rift support

Recommended Videos

The mech-y goodness of upcoming free-to-play game Hawken could be even more immersive in virtual reality, so it’s great to hear that the title will launch with support for the Oculus Rift VR device.

Oculus Rift devs will be among the first to play Hawken in virtual reality when the dev kits ship in December. For the rest of us, the good news is that Hawken will be one of the first games to support Oculus Rift, along with Doom BFG

Hawken is set to launch on December 12 — this we know. We don’t know the launch date for Oculus Rift, but know that you’ll be able to jump in and play Hawken on it from day one. Nice.
