Voxel-based indie Cell: Emergence looks promising

Recommended Videos

As someone who enjoys watching YouTube videos of DNA replication and the like, the upcoming cellular arcade shooter / simulation Cell: Emergence looks rather neat. It’s being developed by New Life Interactive, a studio formed by Sheldon Pacotti, who served as the lead writer on the older Deus Ex titles.

Given the amount of depth and overall production values, it’s remarkable that this is coming to the Xbox Live Indie Games channel, in addition to getting a PC release. Attached is a video demonstration, but the elevator pitch is that you’re a nanobot fighting off infections inside of a little girl.

Look for Cell: Emergence to release either later this month or in September.
