Ultimate Vox Seas Race Tier List (August 2025)

Races are a bit underwhelming in Vox Seas 😑.

Even though the bonuses given by races in Vox Seas aren’t great, they still help you maximize the damage and survivability of your character. With that in mind, we prepared the following Vox Seas race tier list to help you roll for only the best races currently available.

Vox Seas Race Tier List

In the above tier list, we ranked each race in Vox Seas based on how useful they are both for PvP and PvE. Overall, Dragon is the best race at the moment, with Angel and Mink closely behind it. You can check out what bonuses each race provides you with in the table below. Keep in mind that V2 races are currently bugged, and for the most part, they give you lower stat bonuses compared to their V1 versions. So, it is best to stick with a V1 race until developers fix this issue.

Upgrading Races in Vox Seas

Each race in Vox Seas has two versions: V1 and V2. To upgrade a race to its V2 variant, you will need to meet certain requirements and then interact with a specific race V2 NPC. Most V2 race quests are a bit complex, so make sure to check out our Vox Seas V2 race progression guide for information on how to complete them.

Unfortunately, you can’t track how many mobs or bosses you defeated while grinding for a V2 race. So, the only way to check if you completed the quest requirements is to talk to the relevant quest NPC. Here is a preview of each race V2 quest requirements:

You can reroll your race in Vox Seas either by talking to the Race Spin NPC inside the Cafe on the Central Town Island. The race reroll costs Fragments, and the amount needed changes depending on your level. Alternatively, you can reroll your race through the Stats menu using Robux (50). You can’t store races in Vox Seas, but if you upgrade a race to V2 and reroll it, when you get it again, the race will remain upgraded. When rerolling, you can’t get the same race again.

How to Farm Fragments in Vox Seas

You can earn more fragments in Vox Seas by defeating two end-game bosses: Black Beard and Sea Beast. Defeating these two bosses rewards you with 250-500 Fragments, and you can even join boss trains with other people for an efficient farming experience. Read more about these bosses and how to summon them in our Vox Seas boss guide.

That concludes our Vox Seas race tier list. Let us know which race you think is the best and why in the comments below. If you want to follow the meta and stick to the best Vox Seas has to offer, then make sure to check out our sword and fruit tier lists as well.

When he's not grinding games, he's probably watching anime or messing around on his electric guitar, trying (and occasionally failing) to nail anime openings and 90's Japanese rock'n' roll.
