Volume gets a release date and trailer for PC, PS4, and Vita

VR Robin Hood coming August 18

Volume is an upcoming retelling of the Robin Hood legend from Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell, featuring the vocal talents of both ex-Destructoid editor Jim Sterling and Andy Serkis, the talent behind Gollum in The Lord of the Rings.

After months of waiting, we finally have a release date for the game thanks to a new live-action trailer staring YouTube personality Charlie McDonnell.

Interesting, while the game was initially announced to be coming to PlayStation platforms around a month before PC, it’s now releasing on PS4, Vita, and Steam on the same date, August 18.

So, are you excited to see more from this game? I personally loved Thomas Was Alone, so I’m eager to see what Bithell can do with a bigger budget and in a more core gamer centric genre.
