Viva Pinata gets simultaneous release on DS and 360

Pinatas!

When I started hearing details on Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, I grew very afraid. Last time there was a Viva Pinata game in my house, I didn’t get to play the 360 for weeks as my woman dominated the system and re-formed the couch into a perfect mold of her supple buttcheeks. Set your calendars, I’m about to lose my console again.

Or am I? Rare has announced that Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise for DS will share a release date with its less portable sibling. Both games will be dropping on September 2nd (September 5th in the UK), which means I can bait her into a trap with the DS version long enough to get a little playtime in myself.

In addition to all this great news, word has it that retailers have been listing Trouble in Paradise for a mere $40! All those people who have been bitching about the extra five bucks for Braid, complaining about how Microsoft is trying to rip us off, can put that receipt in their pipe and smoke it.
