Vita game Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus set for launch day

Tecmo Koei sends word that we finally have a solid date for the Vita game Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus: Vita launch day. This retooling of PS3 game Ninja Gaiden Sigma adds use of the Vita’s touchscreen, gyro sensor and rear touch pad. You’ll be able to use the gyro sensor to target enemies and shoot projectiles, and use the rear touch pad to launch stronger Ninpo. More fingerprints!

“The Ninja Gaiden series lends itself to a great experience on this amazing new platform,” says Yosuke Hayashi, Studio Head of Team NINJA. “We’re confident that gamers, both our fans and those new to the series, will find Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus to be a thrilling and challenging experience that lives up to the spirit of what the series is best known for while offering a host of new and portable gameplay mechanics.”

Nice! That’s yet another game I have to add to my list for February 22. You can see in the newly released screenshots below how great this title is looking.
