Video: Mortal Kombat X is vile in all the right ways

E3 2014 impressions from Max and Bill

Mortal Kombat 9 was a damn good fighting game, and a damn good game in general. According to Max and Bill, next year’s Mortal Kombat X is shaping up to be more of that.

Building on the foundation of MK9 and Injustice: Gods Among Us, there’s environment interactions, varying move sets, and gruesome X-ray attacks and fatalities. Exploding balls is no-thanks territory for me, but I’m down for X. Looks like I’ll have to play as the bug lady, D’Vorah.

Curious to hear more about the story and how NetherRealm will handle that going forward.
