Huh. I missed that Spec Ops: The Line studio Yager is handling development on Dead Island 2. That knowledge combined with the excellent CG trailer has me mildly interested.
Here’s Max sharing his thoughts after seeing an early demo at E3. He’s feeling similarly guarded, but says the tone is improved and there’s enhancements to weapon crafting — you’ll be able to build stuff like a motorized pitchfork, a weed-whacker with blades on it, and a fiery crossbow.
Dead Island 2 isn’t due out until spring 2015 where it’ll be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so we’ll see how it progresses from here. Can’t wait to see that motion-captured cat.
