Here’s some new gameplay footage for Platinum Games’ first foray into third person shooting, and if you thought it would just be a bland Gears of War rip-off, you don’t know Platinum very well. Vanquish looks set to do for shooters what Bayonetta did for action games. Basically, make things f*cking mental.
Just check out the video, which shows off how fast, chaotic and thoroughly demented the whole affair is. This is shooting up my watch list with everything I see, and I will definitely make a point of finding some time at E3 to get to grips with it. Just look at it!
