Following on from its grisly appearance at last week’s Inside Xbox presentation, publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that fan-fervoured sequel Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is also stalking the PlayStation 5 platform, alongside its PC and Xbox brethren.

Based upon White Wolf’s legendary Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game, Bloodlines 2 sees chaos befall the Seattle underworld one dark festive season, when a rogue sect of vampires begin murdering innocent humans, breaking the long-held “Masquerade” – a tradition of forgoing innocent death for the protection and reputation of the vampire race. This act ignites chaos in the World of Darkness, testing trusted bonds to a breaking point, while leaving the streets awash with blood.

A victim of this recent massacre, the player is now a recently turned Creature of the Night – or “Thinblood” – and will become embroiled in a violent civil war which threatens to bring devastation to Seattle’s vampiric clans. The player’s choices, actions, and alliances will help shape the ultimate fate of the underworld and its denizens.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is in development for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
