Sega have started a new series of trailers featuring the characters of upcoming strategy sequel Valkyria Chronicles 4. The latest chapter in the series features more young men and women thrust into the dramatic conflict between the Atlantic Federation and the Eastern Imperial Alliance.

This first trailer stars the soldiers of The Edinburgh Army, Division No.1, or Squad E, led by the game’s lead, Commander Claude Wallace. Wallace is backed by his loyal troops, including childhood friend and weapons expert Riley Miller, expert sharpshooter Kai Schulen, and brash assault trooper Raz.

These four characters make up the game’s protagonists, and the player’s eyes into their violent, unforgiving world. They will meet many allies and enemies along the way, which we will no doubt meet in further trailers in this series.

Valkyria Chronicles 4
launches in Japan in March on PS4 and Summer on Nintendo Switch. It is scheduled for release in the West on PS4, Xbox One and Switch later in 2018.
