(Update) The still-unannounced Metal Gear Solid V definitive edition is reportedly coming this year

It’s not doing a good job of being stealthy

[Update: Apparently Konami is ready to say it. There’s now a product page on the publisher’s site for Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience. While no price is given, this edition will release on October 11, 2016.]

Although Konami isn’t yet ready to say it, it seems as if the complete Metal Gear Solid V experience will be available on one disc by the end of 2016. That’s if these retailer listings out of Japan can be trusted.

According to this report from Gematsu, this collection — which includes Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and Metal Gear Online, and all 39 paid add-ons — launches in Japan on November 10 for 4,298 yen (approximately $42 USD). A western release is expected, likely around the same time.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of this definitive version. In July, listings first started popping up. Konami hasn’t said one way or another, but confirmation seems imminent at this point.
