[Update: It has been reported by Siliconera that SNK Heroines will also be released on PS4. A limited “Diamond Dream Edition” has also been announced, which will feature an art-book, double-disc OST, pin badges(!) a small selection of clothing and a… umm… towel. This set will be purchasable from the SNK store and is expected to retail for around $120.]

Nintendo have announced a character customisation, fighting game hybrid based on the girls from SNK’s fighting franchises.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy sees Kula Diamond, Athena Asamiya, Mai Shiranui, Yuri Sakazaki and Best Gal Leona Heidern tag-up for fast-paced rumbles. Characters will be able to bust out extended combos and special with simple button presses as they face off in simplistic 2v2 fighting action.

While not exactly on a par, fight-wise, with the great Gals Fighters for the Neo Geo Pocket, the game new will feature a full customisation mode to ensure your favourite duo rekk skullz whilst looking FABULOUS.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy launches on Nintendo Switch this Summer.
