On the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed for the third time. This time, the delay is only for an additional two weeks.

The president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America, Shawn Layden, said “In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.”

Extra manufacturing time makes it sound like there may be issues in printing and shipping discs, or perhaps that fancy special edition statue is causing delays. The exact reason is unclear.

The worldwide release date for Nathan Drake’s final huzzah is now May 10, 2016.
