What? You thought that the 3DS was the only platform for which games have been announced this week? You could hardly be blamed at this point, honestly, but it’s simply not true. Yesterday, Naughty Dog announced that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be releasing in a “Game of the Year Edition” and it’s positively crammed with content.
So, what will you get? Well, you’ll get Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for starters. And you’ll receive what Sony is referring to as a “super voucher” for a ton of downloadable content on the PlayStation Store. The Siege Expansion Pack, the Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack, four Avatar Packs, a Skin Pack and more are all part of the package. All told, the extra content is a $35 value that you’re getting in addition to the game itself for $49.99.
The “Game of the Year Edition” of Uncharted 2 will be showing up in retailers on October 12th. There’s a full list of all the extra material below if you’d care to peruse further.
