Like most games these days, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is getting a special edition. However, unlike most games these days, Uncharted 2‘s special edition cannot be bought in stores. It can only be won.
The Fortune Hunter’s Edition comes with exclusive downloads, a collector case signed by the Naughty Dog team, an art book and an “exact” replica of the Phurba Dagger Artifact, complete with display stand. Quite the luxurious set, I think you’ll agree. If you want to get your filthy, undeserving hands on it though, you’ll have to keep your ear to the ground and wait for Sony to make an offer.
That’s right, this thing won’t be for sale, with Sony instead giving copies away in a variety of competitions. We’ll keep you posted on ways you can win, but for right now Uncharted fans will have to sit on their hands and wait with a sense of subdued panic. In the meantime, keep an eye on the PS Blog, PlayStation Home and the upcoming Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo for chances to grab it.
