UK site taking limited edition Bioshock pre-orders

Here’s something you don’t see every day, early news about a UK videogame release! Visitors to UK site Gameplay.co.uk will be able to place their orders for the limited edition Bioshock box set for £49.99 and receive it on August 24th. The set is not yet seen on Amazon or Play, so Brits can smile that for once, they get just a little love. Just a little, mind.

Were my funds not tied up elsewhere until October, I’d be sorely tempted to plonk down my own pre-order for what might be the most important game of the year outside Halo 3‘s hypesphere of grandeur. I can’t believe I’m going to have to resist temptation for over a month on this sucker. Even when Britain does get a break, I have to miss out. This is Nex’s fault, somehow.
