Holy wow, it’s Modern Warfare 2 and it’s at the top of the UK Chart! How could this be possible? It’s like ten miracles wrapped up in wonder! Always nice to see the underdog beat its rivals and take the top slot, right?
Yeah, so Modern Warfare 2 does what it will be doing for the rest of the year and jealously guards its place atop the pile. FIFA 10 follows it, while Assassin’s Creed 2 remains strong, despite some people acting like Destructoid personally destroyed the game and single-handedly melted all physical copies of it.
The rest of the chart brings us a shedload of Wii games, while Batman: Arkham Asylum re-enters the chart at the very bottom. I guess the Dark Knight is going to end up under a few Christmas trees this year. In any case, hit that jump for the full shakes.
