UK Charts: Alan Wake trounced by FIFA

It’s not often that a hyped Xbox 360 game fails to win the UK Charts for at least its debut week, but Alan Wake drew the short straw in going up against one of a billion FIFA games to have released recently. As always, Britain’s obsession with the absurd sport of soccer has seen the latest FIFA title stay in top position, with Alan Wake relegated to second place.

Lost Planet 2, which we hated, debuts in third place, while Skate 3 comes in at number five. As promotion for Call of Duty: Black Ops gains ground, we also see a reemerging Call of Duty: World at War popping in at fifteenth place. All in all, it’s a slightly more interesting UK Chart than we’re used to, so hit the jump for the latest.
