Ubisoft’s Mighty Quest for Epic Loot finds new life on mobile

Coming this summer

Ubisoft’s The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot was a rare miss for the company when it launched the free-to-play action RPG back in 2015. Released for Windows, the colorful and cheerful game didn’t make much of a dent in the F2P market and was shut down less than two years later. A few months after the PC version went belly up, Ubisoft quietly relaunched the game for mobile devices. It wasn’t made available everywhere, but that’s about to change.

Today, Ubisoft announced The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot will launch on Google Play and in the App Store on July 9, 2019. The hack-and-slash RPG will feature hero characters you can customize with more than 1,000 pieces of gear, what is promised to be a “huge PVE campaign,” PVP arenas, and, of course, lots and lots of loot. It does not seem the castle building portion of the original Mighty Quest will be included in the game, at least not at launch.

Preregistration is now open for Android and iPhone users. If one million people pre-register for the game, they will receive a pet called “Bradley, the Doomsday Messenger” to use in game.
