An unlikely UbiArt Framework game

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a World War I game unlike any other I’ve seen.

It’s the kind of project that makes me okay with the existence of the Assassin’s Creeds of the Ubisoft world — without those mega franchises and their continuous sequels, Valiant Hearts and the recent string of poor selling but amazing Rayman titles might not exist.

Still, I hope this game can find its audience. It’s out on June 25 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. This video, the first in a series of developer diaries, covers the art lead by Paul Tumelaire as well as the emotional, personal story Ubisoft Montpellier hopes to tell.
