Ubisoft is starting to make some moves today on their 50 million strong service, the Uplay shop. Remember? That’s a thing that happened.

The selection includes games from Electronic Arts, Warner Bros. Interactive, Telltale Games, and more. The highest profile release on Uplay is the ability to pre-order EA’s SimCity Limited Edition. In other news, Ubisoft is now selling their games on EA’s Origin.

There’s also a promotion going on — if you buy a digital PC game on the Uplay Shop for $19.90 or over, you’ll get one of the following rewards: Driver San Francisco Deluxe Edition, From Dust, Might & Magic Heroes VI Deluxe Edition, Rayman Origins, The Settlers 7 Gold Edition or World in Conflict: Complete Edition.

Vice President of Ubisoft’s digital publishing branch had this to say on the move, “Adding excellent titles from EA, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and many other top developers to Uplay shop means that players now have more choice in where and how they purchase games online.”

I think that pretty much sums it up — options are great. Whether it’s Steam, GoG, Origin, or the Uplay shop, all of them have the potential for great sales.
