Ubisoft’s ambitious multiplatform real-time strategy title Ruse is eventually coming out, the publisher promises. It’s just that, you know, it’s delaying it. Again.

Confirmed via a message on the game’s official Facebook page, Ruse has been pushed back until Fall, with the publisher aiming for a late-September release. The decision is based on “massive feedback” Ubisoft received during the public beta.

“While we understand how disappointing this news will be for many, rest assured that this is the best decision for Ruse and that this extra time will allow us to implement many of your suggestions and improve the multiplayer experience while polishing the overall game,” the publisher relayed on Facebook, adding that the “project has been ambitious since the start.”

Ruse was originally slated for a February release, and then later the vague “April 2011.” Well, it’s almost May, so I’m glad Ubisoft decided to speak up. Fortunately, the delay is based on product quality and not financial motives, which means we should see a more solid game Ruse finally hits shelves. Or at least that’s Ubisoft’s plan, right?
