Ubisoft announces Might & Magic X Legacy

It’s been a long time coming

Ubisoft and German studio Limbic Entertainment have announced Might & Magic X Legacy, following the teaser from earlier this week. Good timing, considering PAX East is just around the corner and the companies will be showing off this return to the dormant series.

“In the wake of the spectacular events in Might & Magic Heroes VI, you will play in a party of four adventurers entangled in intrigue and political machinations unfolding in and around Karthal,” reads the press release. “The city, on the verge of secession, is prey to competing factions vying for its control. Your actions will determine the fate of the city.”

The website is down at the time of writing, but Ubisoft did send over some initial assets — namely, a teaser-ish announcement trailer. I was all ready to call this one of the better trailers that only shows the logo, but there is a brief look at gameplay towards the end. It’s nice to see first-person, turn-based RPGs getting made in this day and age.
