I noticed Ubisoft had a few themes going on throughout these games. First, the freedom of exploration is being heavily focused on. Far Cry 2, Shaun White Snowboarding and Prince of Persia are all offering the freedom of choice to play through the game how players want to. You’re the director of these games and you can play through the story as you see fit.
Another theme you can see in all of these games is that they’re all trying something new. Shaun White is going to have 16 player matches, Far Cry has a heavy focus on fire, H.A.W.X is revitalizing the flight genre, and then there are the DS games that are trying to get people to stay healthy.
Overall, Ubisoft has a lot of games coming out with lots of potential in each one of them. What games are you guys and gals looking forward to the most?
[Also, Elika from Prince of Persia totally looks like Natalie Portman.]
