Type-MOON’s Garden of Sinners films are now on Crunchyroll

Gotta cut those lines

As Fate/Grand Order continues to run its Garden of Sinners event, the original movie series has appeared on Crunchyroll in the Americas. All in all, Aniplex made a good move in having the films on there since people who just learned about Ryougi Shiki might be interested in learning more about her. Coincidentally, when I was grinding to obtain Shiki as a permanent servant, the whole segment made me want to rewatch them.

Back when they premiered, I remember loving the way how ufotable (Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works 2014’s Animation Production, Tales of Berseria’s Opening) handled the lighting and the blood. In fact, The Garden of Sinners made me fall in love with the studio.

If you’re into urban fantasy stories, I recommend giving them a watch, since they revolve around Shiki being involved in various supernatural investigations. To some extent, it’s kind of like the early episode of Yu Yu Hakusho, but with a dark and serious tone. Most importantly, you gotta give Shiki some mad props for killing things while sporting a beautiful kimono and a gorgeous red jacket.

Since I remember the Blu-ray for the movies costing an arm and leg, I’m glad that there’s another affordable place where people can watch them. Also, there’s a chance that you might crave some Haagen-Daz strawberry ice cream after watching the films.
