We’re just a few weeks away from the return of boomerang-swinging hero TY the Tasmanian Tiger, as the HD remaster of the 2002 platformer launches on Nintendo Switch March 31, following a very successful crowdfunding campaign.

The Kickstarter – held by developer Krome Studios back in August 2019 – saw a grand total of over $130,000 USD raised from an initial target of $50,000. The success of the crowdfunding campaign has also guaranteed ports on PS4 and Xbox One, which are expected to arrive in the very near future. You can check out a fresh trailer for the retro remaster below.

The Nintendo Switch edition of TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD will feature upgraded visuals – including new lighting, colour, and bloom effects – an improved camera, support for Six-Axis motion controls, an all-new “Hardcore” mode, and a selection of new character skins.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger will launch on the Nintendo eShop March 31. The PS4 port will follow “as soon as possible” with an Xbox One release soon after that.
