You know what we’re sick of? Screenshots. They don’t move enough.
Two Worlds II developer Reality Pump Studios has the answer, and it’s calling them “MoveShots.” These are your average “screenshots” because they contain three seconds of action. You know, like video. Really short video. New screenshots, along with these “MoveShots,” can be found over at the official Two Worlds II Web site, and they’re looking pretty decent. Oh, and they’re moving… like newspaper photos in Harry Potter.
Most interesting is that in an email to press today calling attention to the “MoveShots,” they also call out the practice of “doctored screens,” those touched up to make the game’s visuals appear more impressive than they actually are.
“These so-called ‘MoveShots’ serve as a very vivid forecast into the Antaloor universe featured in Two Worlds,” they write, “as well as dispelling any rumors about the possibility of doctored screenshots, which unfortunately are all too common throughout the modern day videogame industry.”
Oh snap!
