Two Worlds II is a game with a hard job. It’s got to convince people it’s worth buying despite its status as a sequel to the worst RPG made this generation. It’s shocking to think Two Worlds ever got a sequel, but watching the debut trailer, we can at least say one thing… they’re trying really hard to make this one not suck.
We have no way of knowing whether the effort’s paid off, but all I know is this — Destructoid is quoted in this trailer, and if the game turns out to be as crap as the last, we’re going to look really, really stupid. Well, not me, as I choose to deny any involvement with that quote until the game comes out and I can make absolutely sure that it’s alright.
So yeah, with editors slowly distancing themselves from the game until they know for sure it’s not toxic, Two Worlds II indeed has a difficult job.
