Two parents actually called their child Dovahkiin

You may remember a while ago, Bethesda set up a contest offering a lifetime supply of Bethesda games to any parents cruel enough to name their child Dovahkiin (that’s dragon speak for “Dragonborn”). Well, a pair of bastards actually went through with it, and Bethesda made good on its promise.

Megan and Eric Kellermeyer are now the proud parents of Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer, who was actually born on Skyrim‘s release date of 11/11/11. Whether Bethesda was being serious or not with its contest offer, the Kellermeyer’s took the challenge very seriously, and have scored the loot to boot.

“Be it the real world or the game worlds we create, we wish young Dovahkiin the best in all his adventures,” said Bethesda in a congratulatory post.

Wow. Poor kid.
