Original 16 fighters available
With the “Capcom Cup 2018” happening soon, Capcom is hosting a free week of Street Fighter V to get players hyped. Available on both PS4 and PC, players will be given access to the original 16 character roster along with Guile, Akuma, and Sagat. Everyone will be able to download the client, but a PlayStation Plus membership will be required for online play.
You’ll have access to Arcade Mode, Trials, Challenges, Offline Versus and Training as well as online features. Capcom will also be introducing sponsored content into the game for the “Capcom Cup 2018,” which will be available to trial members. This content will include things like ads on loading screens and special character costumes. A feature will be available to turn off all advertisements if you so choose.
The trial will be running from December 11 until December 19. There is no mention if the story mode will be playable, but you’re probably best skipping that anyway.
