As a huge Civ and SimCity fan, strategy and city-building simulators like Tropico are pretty much my go-to games. They are the type of game I get lost in and forget that 12 hours of my life just passed by.
Since I mainly spend my time on consoles nowadays, when I heard the news Tropico 5 was coming to the PS4, it felt good to know that this genre continues to get its chance with the console crowd. Lord knows I’ve been waiting for a full and proper Civ game to come, but no, I guess that’s asking too much.
While the above trailer is short, it does show quite a bit of the mechanics that will be in place on the PS4 version of this PC legend.
