Companies sure have been pushing betas hard lately, haven’t they? There’s Socom: Confrontation, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2 … the list goes on. I’m not complaining, but with so much going on at once, it’s just overwhelming is all.

Earlier this month, we told you that pre-ordering World at War would net you a beta code, but that’s not the only way to obtain one. Treyarch recently posted an FAQ relating to the Xbox 360 beta (PC FAQ coming later), and it explains how everything will go down.

Similar to the beta for Call of Duty 4, which was an absolute clusterf*ck initially, keys will first be distributed to Charlie Oscar Delta members who transfer their accounts to CallofDuty.com, and then to members of CallofDuty.com by order of join date.

In other words, the sooner you sign up on that Web site, the better your chances of nabbing a beta code will be. Oh, and if you were wondering, no, there won’t be a PlayStation 3 beta because Treyarch “doesn’t need your stinking feedback*,” that’s why.
