Trails of Cold Steel IV gets concrete western PS4 release date

Nintendo Switch and PC still waiting until 2021

After a tease of a fall release date alongside the announcement of the collector’s edition earlier this year, Trail of Cold Steel IV now has a finalized date for the western PlayStation 4 release.

Fans of the JRPG series now only have to wait until October 27 for the conclusion of the spin-off’s storyline. The October date puts it directly one month past the Japanese release. Unfortunately for those of you who were looking forward to playing on Nintendo Switch or PC, you are still stuck in limbo with a vague 2021 date.

To celebrate the announcement, NIS released a short trailer complete with western voices and some looks at the gameplay.
