Trades and a new mode are next for Team Fortress 2

The ability to trade items! This is something Team Fortress 2 could greatly benefit from, wouldn’t you agree? Talking with PC Gamer, Valve’s Robin Walker gave some insight into what’s next for the game in a post-class-updates world.

The latest update for TF2 — which may or may not hit next month, you can never be too sure — includes a new game mode, item trading, and 20-something weapons and hats. The items are, indeed, from the Polycount Pack. You’ve been keeping up, I see.

However, Walker did mention how some special items that weren’t from the list of winners would be included as well. As for the new mode: “We’ll probably start talking about that stuff soon once we’ve figured out how to talk about it.”
