Toys ‘R’ Us to receive thousands of PS3s and Wiis before Xmas

Still need your Wii or PlayStation 3 fix? Join the club. Thankfully, Toys “R” Us is claiming that they will be receiving thousands of each console. They have said they will get about 6,000 PS3s and “thousands” of Wiis before Christmas. From Next-Gen:

New Jersey-based Toys “R” Us touts that it will receive “thousands” of Nintendo Wiis and 6,000 PlayStation 3s in the week leading up to Christmas.

ImageIn a statement, the toy chain also said that it would be receiving over 30,000 Xbox 360 units as well as 40,000 GameBoy Advance units, the latter of which performed surprisingly well in November with 641,000 units sold in the US for the month.

The company didn’t reveal the exact size of the Wii shipment.

This is it. This if your chance. Make it happen. If you don’t, you’re just gonna be stuck with your family during the holidays discussing Uncle Danny’s “new friend.”
