New content coming on new console

TowerFall Ascension is hurtling toward PlayStation 4 early next year, Sony revealed this evening. The once Ouya-exclusive multiplayer arena game will feature a variety of new content on PS4.
Over at the PlayStation Blog, creator Matt Thorson delved into the title’s history and detailed the upcoming version’s new features. Those include 50 new versus levels, four more playable archers, a co-op quest mode, and six additional power-ups.
Prior to tonight’s announcement, Thorson indicated TowerFall is targeting a January 2014 release on PC.
