Top 20 longest Super Famicom Games

For those who want to practice their comprehension skills.

In the beginning, before the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, or SNES, there was the Super Famicom. For those not in the know, the Super Famicom, or SFC, is what the SNES was called in Japan. It was released almost an entire year before its western counterpart, and featured a whole slew of games that — to this day — would never be made available (or would be delayed by a few decades) in the west.

On the topic of the overall length of games in the Super Famicom era, the list is skewed heavily in favor of titles that were never made available for the SNES. So, we thought it a good idea to compile the data (thanks to HowLongToBeat) and find out what the 20 longest Super Famicom releases were. So, if you have access to an SFC — and if you can read / understand hiragana — wrap yourself up in a blanket, pop some popcorn, and get ready for some very lengthy 16-bit experiences.

It should be noted that we will be including titles that eventually managed to receive a western release on other platforms. So, if a game initially released on the SFC but saw a release on a PlayStation console or Nintendo 3DS, we are counting it on this list.
