Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 soundtrack adds 37 bangers

‘Bangers’, fellow kids

One of the key elements that goes into making a classic Tony Hawk title is a great, memorable soundtrack. And while Activision’s upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 will feature most of (but not all) of the classic hits from the original PlayStation releases, the new OST will also be expanded with the addition of 37 new songs.

A gamut of genres will be featured in the remaster, with heavy leanings toward the skate-friendly ska-punk sound. Names even Old Man Moyse recognises like Reel Big Fish, Sublime, The Ataris and A Tribe Called Quest will be joined by the likes of DZ Deathrays, Chick Norris and – checks notes – Viagra Boys. Back in my day, etc.

You can check out a select cut of the complete soundtrack right here on Spotify. I mean, we’re all just going to be playing “Superman” by Goldfinger on a loop anyway, right?

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 launches September 4 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store.
