Tokyo cyberpunk adventure Murder is releasing this month

Peter Moorhead, creator of Stranded, has announced his newest project: Murder, a sci-fi point-and-click inspired by the likes of Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and Gone Home.

Set in a cyberpunk Tokyo, the game aims to explore “the intersection of morality and sentience, in a future where both are commodities.” It sounds really interesting to me, giving off a Gemini Rue vibe in a lot of ways which is always a good thing.

Murder is being published by Curve Digital on October 21 for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Whether there will be wrinkly psychic kids and a script comprising of nothing but “KANEDA!” in true Akira fashion is yet to be known. I’m up for some Tokyo cyberpunk.
